Chapter 1 summary
In Chapter 1 of “The Internet” the chapter goes in detail on the features of popular web browsers. These features covered are geared to help the user have an organized browser and help understand how these features such as saving the Uniform Resource Locator or URL in a folder for easy access and future use. The chapter covers the basic internet functions as well as explanations on how “cookies” work and why they are used. Some the topics covered were already known to me and it was a good refresher. Getting to read and refresh my memory on these topics I believe will help me get the most out of using the web browser and most importantly stay organized.
